Exciting environments and benefits THE ROLE The Account Manager will be responsble for selling a range of leading media products into Advertising agencies and client direct. The Account Manager will be expected to own the agency relationship of all agencies within their portfolio, with ultimate responsibility for the revenue goals. This person will be responsible for developing and closing new business within a targeted list of prospects, ensuring ongoing business from existing accounts to achieve a set revenue targets. Responsibility • Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory according to an agreed market development strategy • Formulation of individual agency strategy’s and business planning. • Develop, manage and grow relationships with advertising agencies and clients direct to deliver specific revenue targets. • Re-negotiation and up-selling of deal terms. • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contacts towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity. • Account Manage a large volume of customer accounts by deadlines (internal and external). • Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims. • Launch and implementation of new products within the agency team. • Appropriate Administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison. • Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems. • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development • Manage customers to pay the Company within the payment terms agreed. • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information. • Report to Head of Sales as requested on all of the points above. THE CANDIDATE Key attributes include: • 2+ years experience in agency sales. • Must be able to perform to target and excel in a highly competitive market. • Candidate will demonstrate a strategic and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with top tier clients. • Exceptional customer service skills and an ability to think on their feet. • Ability to sell across multiple products and to all levels. • Detail-oriented, assertive, strong organizational & problems solving skills and time-management, • Knowledge of 3rd Party Ad serving • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to network. • Equally comfortable as both a team player and an individual contributor. This client is a world-class technology company, selling across the leading UK network to leading UK agency’s.
