My client, a specialist consultancy are looking for a solid 3rd Line Support consultant . The ideal solutions architect will have experience in Oracle, SQL or DB2 servers / databases and knowledge of Web servers ideally Java but any experience in Web Servers would be of interest. The client is looking for an all rounder in a newly setup team to work on project based activity. You will be involved in the full project life cycle, including technical pre-sales and will be required to architect customer requirements into technical specifications. You will be involved in solution design, data sizing, load balancing and would understand and have a working knowledge of complex clustered database servers. Any experience in software applications, POS systems or On-line authorisation server configurations would be highly beneficial.
