EXTREMELY CLEAR ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS IS A ESSENTIAL SKILL FOR THIS ROLE AND EXP OF WORKING IN A SERVICE PROVIDER/OUTSOURCED BUSINESS.

Technical 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer required to join highly focused and progressive IT Service provider in west London. The environment they have created in their office is that of a flat structure, relaxed but hard working, professional and dynamic. Required skills: Windows 2000 / 2003 / XP, Exchange 2000 / 2003, Microsoft Office, Trend Micro Anti Virus, Veritas Backup, SQL, Cisco routers, switches and firewalls, Altiris

You will be supporting clients remotely within a small and fast paced service desk environment . The 1st/2nd/3rd line Technical Support Engineer must have experience of the following

"MCP Qualified
"Solid experience of working for a service provider or outsourced business
"Must have experience of setting up servers, AD and routers
"Excellent time management and organisational skills
"Strong communication skills as this is a telephone based role to begin with.
"Working knowledge of hardware to include:
"Faultfinding
"Diagnostics
"Problem Resolution
"Sound network knowledge
"Ability to troubleshoot complex issues
 
Salary:
30,000 To 40,000 Yearly
