Job Title: Head of Sales & Marketing / Director Designate
Location: Staffordshire
Package: c. £65,000 Basic + 50% Bonus + Executive Car / Allowance + Family Health + Pension + Benefits

Reporting directly to the Managing Director with full P&L responsibility, this position will head up the sales and marketing functions and play a pivotal role in defining the future direction of the business.

Key Activities
? Preparation and delivery of an annual sales and marketing plan for a portfolio of multiple DIY and retail customers.

? Manage and motivate the Sales and Marketing team, setting stretching personal objectives and carrying out regular and robust performance management reviews.

? Develop and recommend account strategies and tactics to maximise the sales and Net profit from the accounts under your teams management.

? Coaching, training and development of the Sales and Marketing team.

? Recruitment and selection of high calibre individuals.

? Act as Category Expert in order to gain total customer commitment and maximise opportunities.

? Implement promotional plans within defined investment budget.

? Provide the board with accurate rolling sales forecasts by product by account.

? Evaluate promotional effectiveness to ensure the most efficient use of the promotional expenditure.
