 This role is for a software engineer to work in Special Projects within the Military Specialist Communications business segment The successful candidate will analyse requirements and prepare Software Design specifications In this role you will develop GUI and other PC Based applications in a Visual Development Language and be responsible for all stages from requirements capture to final testing This role is working within the military special projects division - information on the projects is not available in the public domain Resonsibilities: -To formulate and derive design requirements -Devise and design to meet requirements -Produce specifications and documentation as required -Produce engineering estimates and support bidding activity -Support customer demonstrations and trials activities as required Experience: -Experience in writing applications for one or more of the following languages :- Delphi C/C++ Visual Basic -Experience communicating with peripherals Interfaces using IEEE RS232 USB etc -Good understanding of OOD & SASD -Good Windows NT XP &2000 knowledge To apply for this position candidates must be eligible to gain secret level security clearance plus code word level clearance Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy |
