My client are a global player in the software market with a renowned name for innovation in technology and driving customer satisfaction. This opportunity is for a business manager with experience selling to education or the public sector.

You will have overall responsibility for my clients relationship with the education sector in the North of England. This will involve working on large scale projects and dealing at LEA level. Ultimately you will be accountable for revenue growth, increasing customer and partner satisfaction as well as winning against the competition in the education marketplace and improving my clients image and reputation in education and wider government circles.

To apply you will need demonstrable major project consultative sales experience working for a major IT company. Strong knowledge of application, solution and major project selling is also required. Experience of selling to the education market would be well received or at the very least, strong public sector experience. A technical awareness is also required so you can have a credible conversation with an IT manager and strong business skills are also a must.

Why apply? The successful candidate will be joining a company where you will be well rewarded financially but also in terms of the challenge. This is also a recession proof space.
