Description
This global independent consultancy is looking for a Principal Consultant, with extensive experience of Service Management, where you will be responsible for driving step change improvements in IT delivery.
You will achieve excellence by implementing major strategic change through groundbreaking outsourcing, instilling customer focus and service management disciplines into in-house IT departments or conducting major IT change programmes.
As part of the IT Management and Operations practice, you will work with multiple clients directly on a wide range of assignments. You will demonstrate initiative, drive and willingness to do whatever it takes to help their client succeed.
Although consultancy experience will be valuable, candidates with relevant experience from industry, in particular public, HR and financial sectors will be considered. Experience and/or qualification with ITIL will be highly advantageous.
You will be responsible for, and ideally have experience in at least two of the following areas;
- Managing IT departments
- Transforming IT functions
- Designing IT service management frameworks and functions
- Large scale IT service management implementation
- ITIL Certified/Qualified
- CORBIT, ISO 20000
- IT organisational design and implementation
- Improving IT project performance
- Assuring IT delivery
Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be willing to travel on business – whilst this is an office based role, UK travel is required.
