Description Territory Sales Account Manager – North West - to £33,000 pa + Bonus + Car + Final Salary Pension + Private Healthcare
Our client is the market leader in the manufacture and supply of consumables to the Food & Beverage Manufacturing sector. An exciting opportunity exists for a Territory Accounts Manager to take up a field based role covering the North West / Manchester / Merseyside / Cheshire /Cumbria area. The Territory Accounts Manager will spend 70% of their time managing Existing Accounts and 30% of their time focusing on New Business activities. The role is therefore focused on delivering World Class customer service and applying a consultative approach. The Accounts Manager will be working with a diverse range of Food & Beverage businesses, encompassing, Bakeries, Dairies, Chilled, Frozen, Ambient, Breweries and Foodservice operators. The products that the jobholder will be promoting are genuinely innovative and highly recognisable within the Food sector. The jobholder will develop passion and belief in the full range of products, and by getting close to customers the Account Manager will recognise opportunities to cross-sell various products using a consultative approach. A Sales or Account Management background may assist but is not essential, as the company will offer structured training. It is essential (however) that applicant’s have a detailed understanding of the Food or Beverage industry, gained by working within the sector at a management level, including knowledge of Hygiene and Quality requirements. Applicants are expected to be confident, excellent builders of relationships and possess the commercial savvy to implement and execute a business development strategy. This role reports into the Sales Manager and offers an excellent opportunity to work for a well established and innovative business that enjoys market leading status, low staff turnover and ever increasing sales turnover. The position may be particularly attractive to candidates with Food Hygiene or Food Production experience, seeking to move into a Commercial role. The Basic Salary for this position is £28k to £33k pa depending on experience. Ref: 386
