Sous Chef - Country House Hotel 2 Rosette Sous Chef required for this busy Country House Hotel for their recently launched modern Brasserie Restaurant, Private Dining and Banqueting (upto 200 covers) serving good standard fresh 2 Rosette Cuisine. As Sous Chef you would be expected to work from menus created by the Head Chef although he is quite flexible as the restaurant is in early days and so he will be happy for you to have good menu input to make it succeed. As Sous Chef you would be responsible for the smooth Running of the Kitchen during the absence of The Head Chef, other duties will include:- - assisting with training of juniors - completion of paperwork - completing wedding tastings - meeting with guests etc. You must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to delegate tasks well. This is definitely a position that would benefit any suitable candidate seeking to build their career profile. Maybe an existing Sous Chef looking to move up in standard of property or a Junior Sous Chef looking for more responsibility.
