 A Defence Engineering and Project Management company are looking for an SQL Database Administrator to work from their The successful candidate will be required to work within the service desk to support maintain debug and document the companies existing databases you will configure 3rd party applications and bespoke applications using your MS SQL skills Applicants will be required to carry out performance and capacity monitoring of SQL Server components Event log monitoring and Storage Capacity planning and implementation of software database monitoring and provide advice and consultancy within the area of SQL Server and associated technologies acting as the expert within the department It would also be highly desirable to have knowledge of the following: Visual Studio 2005 OOD ideally within VB net ASP net ASP and Java Script Due to the nature of the work involved candidates will either be currently Security Cleared or willing to undergo the SC Clearance process For more information or to apply for this role please call |
