We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager in our office in Stuttgart, Germany The position requires relocation to Stuttgart with travel to existing site facilities throughout Europe. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding position while living abroad in Europe, with extensive opportunities for European travel. We provide a comprehensive relocation package that includes travel and moving expenses as well as housing and vehicle allowances.
Required Skills
These positions are part of a multi-disciplinary project team developing business systems and applications to meet the needs and priorities of clients. Openband is looking for talented and experienced Project Managers who understand the full scope of a PM role. This role involves all aspects of Project Management as encompassed by the PMBOK.

In addition, the job will include the following responsibilities:
  • Work with engineers to draft Statements of Work, project budgets, and project schedules, and other project deliverables (Project Plans, Risk Management plans, RFI’s, change orders, etc.)
  • Generate all required project reporting
  • Request and manage resources in a strong matrix environment
  • Attend customer meetings, conduct After Action Reports, and project reviews
  • Ensure all required safety and QC procedures are being followed
  • Assist in the drafting of policies and procedures
  • Determing budget, schedule, approach, and organization for multiple projects;
  • Tracking project status, generating status reports and updated POA&M documentation;
  • Developing and tracking requirements traceability;
  • Managing project scope, executing the change management process, and ensuring successful project completion;
  • Ensuring that all invoicing and accounting is completed;
  • Possess PM experience in environments that include IT, telecommunications, C4 centers, and/or large scale construction;
  • Must be a dynamic leader with the capabilities to manage multiple projects;
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, managers, and customers including senior government and military personnel;
  • Must have a thorough understanding of budgeting and cost control;
  • Must have strong, polished written skills and experience generating budgeting and statement of work;
  • Must be familiar with PMI PMBOK concepts, standards and practices;
  • Must be experienced with accounting practices;
  • Must be familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and practices;
  • Interpret RFP and RFQ documents and generate proposals in conjunction with engineers and accounting personnel;
  • Must be familiar with common project submittals;
  • Experience developing SOW, POA&M, Risk Management Plans, and other project documentation;
  • Experience managing scope, schedule, and budgets o multiple concurrent projects;
  • Should have extensive government or military contracting experience in a firm fixed price environment
  • Required Experience
  • Senior PM must possess a minimum of 7+ years project management experience;
  • Mid Level PM must possess a minimum of 3 years project management experience;
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (Other degrees will be considered with appropriate work experience and talent);
  • Masters Degree and former government or military contracting experience in a firm fixed price environment is a plus;
  • Prefer CAPM or PMP certifications;
