JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for entering, verifying and maintaining payroll information in accordance with company policy and procedures. Identifies issues with current process and notifies management of concerns and potential solutions.

 

 

JOB DUTIES

·         Receive operational data for verification, correction and/or entry into the company's payroll systems and enters the information according to WHQ requirements.

·         Monitor transmission of data from the offices.  Follow up with the offices to resolve errors.

·         Enter all paper exception logs received from the field on a daily basis.  Monitor, review, approve, and reject electronic exceptions on a daily basis.

·         Enter TTS Instructor Classes into the time entry system.

·         Complete Pay Period End duties including Approvals before deadline every two

weeks.

·         Enter/revise associate hours worked and related labor codes in payroll system per District Manager approval.

·         Monitor office leader time entry edits and electronic exception process and assist office leaders with this process as needed.

·         Review and process all prior pay period adjustments received from the field in accordance with policy and procedures.

·         Assist associates with paycheck stop pay and reissue process.

·         Assist with hiring, transferring, and terminating field associates in the employee database per District Manager requests.

·         Attend training sessions and participate in meetings related to the effective and efficient performance of job duties.

·         Identify issues with current process and notify management of potential concerns and potential solutions.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         These skills are acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.

·         Ability to work independently.

·         Analytical and detail oriented.

·         Ability to do repetitive tasks and remain focused.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

·         Good verbal and written communication skills required.

·         Ability to effectively work under strict deadlines while simultaneously organizing multiple projects.

·         Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.

·         Experience with Windows operating system.

·         Good 10-key, data entry, and keyboarding ability.
