About the role
It's the trust we inspire in our customers that drives us forward at Barclays. . And as a Cashier, you'll be part of the front-line team that'll take us there. You'll look after our customers' needs by delivering excellent customer service - listening intently, asking all the right questions and answering any queries they may have confidently and intelligently. You will be expected to treat our customers with empathy, as they may approach you with financial issues that require sensitive handling. And if you can't resolve a query yourself, you will point our customers in the direction of someone who can.
About you
Financial services experience is by no means essential for this role - our comprehensive training will ensure that you are brought up-to-speed as quickly as possible. What we do ask is for you to be an exceptional team player and a skilled communicator, numerate and with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Some previous experience in a commercial environment would also be beneficial.
