Job Description
Payroll Officer required for my client based in Leeds City Centre. Working alongside the Payroll Manager you will assist with the weekly and monthly payroll, SSP SMP, SPP, SAP payments and calculations, creation of weekly BACS payment, printing of weekly payslips and dealing with payroll queries.
You will have recent and relevant experience working within payroll and after initial training will be able to work with minimum supervision. You will have a good understanding of payroll procedures and will have excellent communication skills to be able to effectively liaise with people at all levels throughout the business. You will have a methodical and organised nature and will be able to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
My client is a specialist service provider and a leader in their field, with a turnover of circa 50 million. They work with many high profile public and private sector clients, supported by a network of offices across the UK and Europe. They have great new offices in the centre of Leeds and offer great benefits to all employees.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
