Job Description
Accounts Assistant required for a well known corporate organisation based in the City Centre. Due to continuous growth, they require an accounts assistant on a temporary contract, with a view to going permanent dependant on performance. Your duties will include maintaining the purchase and sales ledger process, reconciling statements and analysing and producing cost centre reports. Other duties will be producing accounts up to trial balance and general accounts administration work.
You must be a proficient accounts assistant, with a good all round knowledge of accounts. You will be organised and have the ability to work under your own initiative in a pressurised environment and be able to meet targets and deadlines. Your Excel skills must be at an advanced stage where you will be able to do pivot tables and v - look -ups and also have a knowledge of computerised accounts packages.
My client is a well known global organisation based in the city centre and are a market leader in their field. My client have easy public transport access to them and provide good benefits once made permanent. The successful candidate will work 9am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity, with a view to a permanent contract within a prestigious company.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
