Job Skills/Requirements The Sr Oracle Developer is responsible for contributing to all activities related to the projects utilizing scripting languages systems and software applications. This individual will support IT Operations and Software Quality Assurance teams while applying communication and problem-solving skills involving mission-critical information and software systems. The Sr. Oracle Developer will develop and maintain systems that are efficient, scalable, and that maintain data quality and integrity.
Essential Functions - Programming in PL/SQL and Unix/Linus shell scripting languages. - Provide support to IT Operations and Software Quality Assurance teams as necessary. - All other duties as assigned.
Requirements - Strong skills programming Oracle PL/SQL as an ETL tool for Large volume Data warehouse. - Strong skills in trouble shooting and Performance tuning of Oracle PL/SQL programs. - Strong skills in Unix/Linux shell scripting languages. - Team Player - Demonstrated ability to learn quickly - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Being self-directed and able to work with little supervision. - Willingness to travel if needed - Provide support to IT Operations and Software Quality Assurance teams as necessary. - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Good to have knowledge of Healthcare industries & applicable data privacy practices (HIPAA).
Education Computer Science/equivalent degree, or comparable experience in software engineering. A combination of education and experience may be substituted unless prohibited by licensure or certification.
Additional Information/Benefits All benefits are effective on the 29th day of employment with the exception of tuition reimbursement, which is effective after 90 days of employment.
