Provide application and integration testing of software/hardware in a laboratory environment (100’s of servers) for a wide variety of both COTS and custom software applications. Provide engineering support for packaging of software to create silent single executables to provide to the production team for enterprise distribution. The duties of this position can be broad and may include such tasks as installing new workstations, adding and removing individuals from the list of authorized users, archiving files, overseeing password protection and other security measures and monitoring usage of shared resources. Configures systems to user environments. Maintains currency in new developments and technology. May act as a technical project lead or provide work leadership for lower level employees.

Minimum 2+ years in Information Technology support or consulting roles. MCSE preferred. Minimum of one year of primary responsibility for supporting LAN infrastructure. Experience in hardware/software technical support, user support and networking support. Desktop Operating Systems, i.e., Windows 2000, XP Server Operating Systems, i.e., Windows 2000/2003 Desktop Applications, i.e., Office 2003, client server applications Scripting experience a plus (e.g., Windows Host Scripting, Visual Basic, JAVA, Batch)

Advanced degree and two (2) years experience; or degree in Computer Science or related field and three (3) years experience; or trade school/associate degree and five (5) years of experience; or seven (7) years of IT experience.
