The site lets real people review, rate and recommend local businesses and services enabling consumers to make informed choices based on trusted user-generated content.Their sales team combines a target driven and fun environment that combines the financial backing of a plc with the laid back and dynamic rhythm of a .com.To fuel their 2008-2009 expansion plans our client is now looking for additional field sales executives to join their existing team.
Job Description
The role purpose is to develop new business by telephone sales followed by a face to face meeting; you will also give presentations to key clients where appropriate. Lead sourcing activity, data management, writing of compelling proposals, reporting etc in summary, you own and control the whole cycle.
·Field based sales role generating 100% New Business.
·Promoting USPs such an online business networking directory..
·To sell online advertising including ad space, SEO, PPC, affiliate marketing, pay per call across the website. This will include banners, enhanced listings etc.
·You will receive guidance from a Google research team, to aid you in generating sales leads.
·Hit minimum targets (talk times, number of calls, revenue generated, close on the day)
Experience /Skills Required:
·100% New Business generation
·Business to Business(B2B) Field Sales
·B2B SEO Field Sales
·Media sales (classified, display, advertising or recruitment)
·Outbound B2B direct sales
·New Media Field Sales
·A proven track record in B2B Field Sales
·Numerate
·Strong Telephone Manner
·Strong Presentation Skills
·Strong Closing Skills – Be able to close on the day.
·Enjoy and understand internet business.

Salary: £28,000 plus £24k commission (our commission is uncapped and some sales executives are earning £60k. We also have various sales incentives throughout the year)
