Job Description
Assistant Financial Accountant is required immediately to join my clients team at an exciting time during an impressive growth period. Working closely with the MIS team you will assist the Financial Accountant in all aspects of their financial duties including assisting in the production of the financial accounts, prepayments, accruals, general ledger and reconciliations. You can expect to receive excellent exposure to all aspects of their busy & growing finance function.
As the successful candidate you will be a confident, driven and committed accountant with an eye for detail. You will be studying or keen to start your ACCA or CIMA studies. You will have experience dealing with journals, reconciliations and month end duties. Experience within a Distribution environment would be beneficial but by no means essential.
My client is multi-million pound turn over distribution business with their head office function situated in a desirable central Birmingham location. My client has a proven track record of internal progression opportunities and offers impressive and flexible working conditions.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
