Architect - Performance Optimization Application Framework

In this key position, as Architect for the Performance Optimization Application Framework, you will participate in the definition of the architecture & design of components for the next generations of the Performance Optimization Applications Suite. You will review requirements and specifications and will participate to some of the development.

Tasks:

• Deliver architecture documents, detailed technical documents and participate to some of the development
• Assure adequate performance and stability of highly stressed servers
• Communication
• Express new ideas and present them
• Communicate proactively, precisely & accurately, supporting team members
• Interact with colleagues in an international environment
• Work with support on understanding customer issues and devising plans to satisfy

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

• University degree in computer science
• 5+ years experience in designing and developing software in a fast-paced environment
• Facility and enjoyment collaborating with other teams
• Ability to articulate & drive an architecture vision
• Unrelenting drive for quality
• Strong experience with the development of Java servers on Windows and Unix
• Strong experience with web based applications using technologies like Flex, javascript, …
• Ability to express and drive the resolution of technical problems effectively

• Ability to work independently with guided, but minimal supervision
