Market leading Value Added Re-seller (VAR), specialising in CAD Software Solutions sales to the Manufacturing and Engineering Sectors, actively seeks sales professionals to join their dynamic sales force to look after a territory in Essex. Our client's provide more than just CAD products, they provide solutions than can make a tangible difference to their client's business. They focus on providing design, engineering and manufacturing solutions that enable a real step-change to take place in any company.
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be expected to develop new business selling their award winning portfolio in to an assigned territory. Initially they need somebody in the Essex area, working from a home based office, so reasonable proximity to M25/ M11 is advantageous. You will be targeting IT Directors and Head Engineers, selling a whole suite of CAD solutions (3-D Modelling Software), Data Management and FEA Analysis. The range of decision makers will be as diverse as the portfolio you will be selling, so the ability to think on your feet is a must.
You will be hungry and dynamic, self-motivated and ambitious. You will need to be a pro-active sales person by nature who is not afraid of making cold calls and also follow up on web site leads, as well as being handed a number of accounts to service. Ideally you will have 2+ years' experience selling solutions into the corporate and SME market place, preferably Manufacturing or Engineering. However if you have been selling related products or services and can demonstrate a good knowledge of the Engineering market place along with an excellent sales record, you will also be considered on individual merit. For example, a successful Territory Manager with a degree in Mechanical Engineering would be a great match for the role. You will also be a polished, well-presented sales person, ideally degree educated, who can deal with people at all levels.
