This global asset management house is looking for an experienced developer to help the group through business critical projects. You will be from a financial background with ideally Asset management or Investment banking experience.
You will analyze business requirements and prepare technical requirement documents and design, Implement and Unit Test ETL mappings. You will be heavily involved in building code using Informatica, SQL and shell scripts. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with other team members, taking lead in assigned projects, thereby enabling participation in all areas of the software development lifecycle
Skills: - 5+ years of enterprise software engineering - ETL expertise. Excellent SQL skills, preferably Oracle, Sybase and Sybase IQ. Advanced ETL Skills and proficiency in using at least one ETL tool - Informatica(preferred) or Abinitio. Excellent knowledge in Unix shell scripting, Perl skills desirable
Knowledge of Java and/or C++ or any programming language. Investment banking, Asset management or trading related domain experience is highly desirable. B.S(or equivalent) in Computer Science, mathematics or related field is required. ASAP start.
