Clearance Required: US Citizenship & DoD TOP SECRET / SCI Job Description:  Conducts examinations of computers and media generated by computers to develop evidence as an expert in the specialty area of forensic computer science. Reviews laboratory requests and determines the type of examination needed. In data recovery cases, determines the most appropriate method of protecting original evidence and recovering deleted, erased, hidden and encrypted data. Technical lead for IS and trusted systems technology. Conducts analysis of current DoD IS architecture and reports comparative assessments of alternate approaches. Designs, develops, debugs, tests, reverse engineers, documents, and maintains computer programs for security applications.   Certifications:  Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) Primary work location: Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, VA 23521, but travel to and/or primary work may also be identified and/or expected at: Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, CA 92135 and/or Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, WA 30689 Salary Considerations: Negotiable based upon years of experience, skill sets, and level of education, as well as geographic location of work site and job title classification. Salary negotiations for this position start at: $TBD+ annually, plus full benefits for full-time employees. Relocation: ZelTech is unable to offer relocation funding.
