Sr. Java Developer
World Wide Technology, Inc. currently has an opportunity available for a Sr. Java Developer. WWT specializes in providing high-tech solutions and services which enable companies to better share, distribute, organize, and analyze information. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the ability to mentor junior level employees, and the ability to interact independently with the business. Minimum five years of previous commercial programming experience using Java is required. Java Certification preferred. Must develop/design/architect/tune J2EE (JSP MVC2, EJB, JMS) in a multi-tiered environment, with focus on web-based solutions. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required.
Required technology skill set includes Solaris/Linux, J2EE application server (BEA WebLogic 8.1 and 9/10), Struts, BEA JPF, Web 2.0 RIA concepts (AJAX, REST, or Dojo).
