WWT currently has an opportunity available for an experienced Consulting Systems Engineer focusing on HP technologies in
Responsibilities:
· Able to configure, design and architect a solution to fill a business requirement.
· Assists with accounts within assigned geography by providing the technical assistance on a day to day basis.
· Able to configure, design and architect a solution to fill a business or technical requirement.
· Fully understands the OEM’s promotions products and services
· Works with clients and WWT Outside Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into
· Ensures effective coordination and support between account teams and supporting post sale technical resources.
· Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables within the domain of the opportunity which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposals.
· Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key data center partners who are local to your region and/or territory.
· Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer.
· Works closely with WWT Outside Sales to prioritize requests.
Qualifications:
· Ability to understand client business issues and architect technical solutions.
· Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts and solutions.
· Ability to clearly advocate and associate value with technology to drive sales efforts.
· Technical writing and Architecural documentation methodologies.
· Strong software background, including relational databases and web infrastructure.
· Technical Consulting/Sales Experience selling complete Business/IT solutions.
· OS and application provisioning experience.
· Understanding of virtualization technologies, such as VMware.
· Systems administration experience in a large datacenter environment.
· Strong IT solutions and architecture background.
· Knowledge of HP and Competitive offerings (eg. Sun, Dell, IBM and EMC).
· Self motivated and able to work independently.
· Strong teaming experience and skills.
· Demonstrated business acumen.
