Job Summary
As “Programme Manager” your primary role will be to work in partnership with your assigned portfolio of clients to manage and plan the programe of activity in executing their IT strategy including, as part of this, the successful implementation of software based business solutions.
This role will include a direct working relationship with the sales & marketing department and also with Project Office to proactively assist in attracting new clients to Tectura that satisfy our targeted financial targets. Participation in the completion of commercial documents in response to requests for information, pricing and estimates is also within the scope of this role as is the responsibility to ensure that all commercial and operational documents provided to prospects and clients are of the required quality.
Responsibilities
? To provide support to Project Managers assigned to your Programmes
? To define and manage programmes of work with assigned clients
? To maintain and develop service offerings/value propositions related to the core MS Dynamics product suite incorporating MS CRM and BI
? To support Account Managers and the New Business team in positioning services with clients/prospective clients
? To ensure that the Tectura Solution Framework (TSF) methodology is implemented consistently, maintained and developed and incorporates the use of any new tools and accelerators
? Recommend and provide management for internal development projects
? Review and co-ordinate delivery options for new business proposals and prepare/approve estimates in conjunction with the Consultancy Manager
? Co-ordinate the production of proposals with Sales Marketing, Project Office and Operations
? Assist in the production of marketing collateral
? Co-ordinate the hand-over from the Sales team to the Operations team
? To work with Tectura country-based teams in areas such as resourcing and to promote Tectura group service offerings into our existing client base.
? To ensure that a quality plan is completed for assigned projects
? To maintain the issues escalation system for assigned issues
? Provide quality control on live projects
? Champion projects at the steering committee meetings
? Ensure that Tectura personnel on assigned projects are properly briefed and trained, and are capable of the work expected of them
? Ensure that Tectura Project Managers follow the required personal and professional standards
? To deputise for the Consultancy Manager as required
Programme and Project Management:
It is expected that typically the Programme Manager will have responsibility for the running of one or more major projects at any time and therefore the responsibilities of the Project Manager role (PM-1) are also relevant here and are repeated for completeness:
The Programme Manager role will involve the day to day running of major EEG programmes. By the nature of the EEG organization, such projects typically be large and complex with multiple countries within the geographic scope

Detailed Responsibilities:
? Proactively manage client relationships to ensure the success of the software implementation and ongoing relationship with the client
? Ensure your project team delivers according to Tectura’s Implementation Methodology (TSF) at all times
? Ensure that all key project deliverables e.g. Project Charter, Project Plan, Analysis and Design specifications, test plans and proposed solution) are signed off and accepted by both the client and supplier (which invariably will be Tectura as the prime but may include other third party solution providers)
? Provide regular project status reports for the projects you manage to the client and Consultancy Manager
? Provide monthly forecasts and estimates on services and software revenue for the projects you manage
? Ensure that weekly timesheets are entered in the timesheet system by all your project resources and approved by you within the timescales required
? Escalate issues to senior Tectura management that could potentially become a risk and are business critical to Tectura
? Communicate to senior management within Tectura all business opportunities and threats
Skills and Experience
Technical Skills & Experience
? Experience of fulfilling senior Programme leading roles on international ERP projects covering the full project life-cycle
? A demonstrated ability to understand business problems and to manage the process to provide either software solutions or non-software solutions to those problems for our clients.
? You must have a basic functional (and ideally) technical understanding of the products used in the software Implementations you are involved in
? You must have a good understanding of implementation methodology including the management of risk and change
? Experience in planning with Microsoft Project
• PRINCE 2 Practitioner qualification (or equivalent) desirable

Working Environment
Since this is an EMEA wide, field-based role it requires travel and work time flexibility. Whilst it may not always be the case, it should be assumed that this will involve staying away from home throughout the week. It would be anticipated that the majority of time will be spent on client site within the EMEA region. The role will also involve time spent with sales and pre-sales personnel supporting their activities.
