M-F 8AM to 4:30 PM, no weekends, no on-call

Duties

Reporting to Vice President of Middlesex Hospital, this PA/APRN is a Middlesex Hospital employee, contracted by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services to provide non-psychiatric primary and secondary care services to patients at Connecticut Valley Hospital (CVH). Responsibilities include daily rounds on assigned patients, History and Physicals on admissions and annually, coordinating consultations as necessary. The APRN/PA is supervised by the Middlesex Hospital Hospitalist.

Minimum Requirements

APRN or PA certification with active CT license. At least 3 years experience in a clinical setting. Experience working with mental health patients preferred.
