Position Overview Linear Technology Corporation is seeking an Analog IC Design Engineer for our Colorado Springs Design Center to design high performance, highly profitable products targeted toward industrial and high-end consumer power management markets. Integrated circuits designed in this group include state of the art DC/DC converters, high voltage flyback regulators, and multi-function power management chips.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Detailed, transistor level design of analog and digital circuits for new and derivative power management products. Gaining an in-depth understanding of process technologies used; both existing and those under development. Interfacing with test, product and applications engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production. Ability to find and fix complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory.
Required Skills The ideal candidate must have the following key requirements for this position. MSEE with 3+ years (or BSEE with 5+ years) of relevant industry experience with a strong background in analog design. Thorough understanding of integrated circuit design. Experience with various switchmode power conversion topologies. Understanding of control systems. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
