POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage the Customer Care Call Center. Ensure that customer calls are answered promptly and keep team focused on retaining existing business customers by addressing customer accounts and resolving customer issues to ensure the protection and growth of Company’s revenue base.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or a related field, or the equivalent in training and experience required. Additional substantial experience (5+ years) required in customer service management, specifically handling complex and sensitive customer issues, indicating an ability to manage existing accounts. Demonstrated experience managing employees, specifically within a service function. Knowledge of the telecommunications industry through direct or indirect work experience. Demonstrated knowledge of local exchange, long distance and Internet markets. Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills sufficient to defuse, intense situations, negotiate resolutions and enlist support, cooperation and assistance from others. Computer skills including proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation and word processing programs.
