Description
Under the direction of the Manager – Technical Marketing, this position is responsible for assisting in the creation and distribution of product and comparative data for Hawker Beechcraft commercial products to the worldwide sales organization. This position is required to work closely with the sales organization and very often includes contact with potential customers.
Responsibilities - include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare specifications and performance analysis and comparisons for all commercial aircraft products
- Prepare mission and airfield performance analysis cabin comparisons and management summaries
- Prepare standard and customized reports
- Assist with development of brochures, internet/intranet and other sales tools
- Provide input for magazine technical data and updates
- Maintain a library of competitive materials, performance manuals and brochures
- Research competitive aircraft data
- Work closely with salesmen and dealers worldwide to provide the level of expected information
- Participate in customer on-site demonstrations and presentations
- Assist with the development and distribution of sales tools
Works extensively with all levels of HBC management, sales organizations, pilots and customers. Must have product knowledge of HBC products and their competitors.
Experience / Skills / Education
Required - Minimum of three years’ experience associated with the aerospace industry. Preference given to candidates with strong aircraft performance / analytical acumen and experience.
Candidate needs strong PC skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) and graphics software capability (CorelDraw, Photoshop). Candidate needs to demonstrate good written, oral, presentation and communication skills.
Proven high degree of human relations skills.
Desired - A minimum of a private pilot’s license with and engineering background. Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
