The Systems Manager for Admissions, Outreach, and Alumni is an active member of the recruitment and admissions team who is responsible for developing, managing, linking, and coordinating the information systems of the Office of Admissions, which currently houses both educational enrichment and alumni initiatives.

This role is intended to provide leadership in maintaining various admissions systems including: admissions online application and Banner (as well as Peoplesoft until full Banner implementation); Admissions website including live-chat feature; QF online financial aid system; schools database used by Admissions and Enrichment; and alumni database used by admissions, public affairs and student affairs/careers (currently Access). The position requires a macro understanding of Admissions and related functions (educational enrichment, recruitment, enrolment, financial aid alumni) and how they fit together (40%), and a micro facility with the various systems that underpin those functions (60%).

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess clear understanding of admissions processes, standards, and the desirable systems requirements for a smooth functioning admissions office; Must have facility with all standard tools for the job, including database program(s), spreadsheet program(s), and HTML; Must have aptitude for learning new computer-based skills and for sharing that knowledge; Must have proficiency in Arabic and English; Additional foreign language knowledge is an asset.

At least a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a relevant degree program. Master’s degree preferred.

User Support Specialist

Responsibilities:
