Job Description
Qualcomm MEMS Technologies Inc. was formed to take a leadership role in the development of display technology for the full range of consumer-targeted mobile products. Using advanced MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) technology, QMT's products reflect Qualcomm's overall strategy of rapidly increasing the capability of mobile devices while driving down cost, size and power consumption.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities within Europe including all EU and UK . He/She will be the account manager for local OEM customers and will handle day to day sales issues such as design activities, promoting new and existing products, purchase orders, forecasting and delivery logistics. He/She will not only manage the existing accounts, but also will need to expand customer base and find new opportunities that aligns with QMT goals and objectives. They will work closely with internal sales and marketing team and FAE to support the customers.
Skills/Experience
* Proven experience of external sales in handheld, consumer electronics, and mobile devices industries are preferred, experience dealing with ODM/OEM is a plus:
* Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
* Need to be able to multi-task and work with both external and internal customers
* Able to handle sales, forecasting, delivery, account management
* Able to work with engineering team, FAE team and provide key feedback to R&D
* Must be able to speak and write fluent English
* Experiences with different EU business cultures are also necessary
* Display background/experience is not required but a plus
Additional Skills
* Must be able to travel often to meet with key customers.
Education Requirements
* College graduated required.
* Technical background and/or MBA a plus.
