What You'll Do

• Work with a small team of highly experienced J2EE developers in an open Agile / Extreme Programming development environment to design and build enterprise-class systems using the latest open-source technology. 
• Developers have the opportunity to interact directly with end users from use-case/scenario conception to final implementation.
• Work may include exploring the use of various vendor and open-source COTS technologies to meet our customers needs for data, information and knowledge management. 
• This is a fast-paced result-oriented R&D environment. 

What You'll Need 

• BS in Software Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred plus 2 or more years of progressively responsible experience
• Minimum 2 Years experience with Java / J2EE technology.
• Familiar with UML 2.0, JUnit Testing, and NetBeans or Eclipse IDEs.
• Experience with the JBoss suite of tools is helpful: (AS, ESB, Portal, jBPM, SEAM, ...)
• Experince with JDBC/SQL is required
• Meta Matrix experience is a plus
• OS: MS Windows, Solaris, and RedHat LINUX
• Development Tools: Eclipse, Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Serena Version Manager
• Database: Oracle and MySQL
• Be an energetic, open-minded, out of the box thinker, who is willing to immerse themselves in the latest technology.
• Security Requirement:  TS/SCI required.
• In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level will be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Master's degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience.  Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
