We are looking for a talented Program Manager with strong technical expertise and excellent leadership to perform the ScrumMaster role in a world class development organization. You will lead a highly educated and talented cross functional team working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment. You will foster this kind of environment day to day. You are expected to collaborate closely with product management, technical executives, development, QA, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
    Using the Scrum framework adapted by Salesforce.com and branded as the Adaptive Development Methodology (ADM) you will facilitate delivery of projects in a highly iterative and agile manner in partnership with Release Operations, Program & Product Management, Engineering, QA, Development Services, Corporate Security, and other departments.
  • Create and manage plans for project delivery;
  • As ScrumMaster, coordinate and facilitate daily Scrum meetings, Sprint planning sessions, Sprint reviews and Sprint retrospectives;
  • Regularly contact and examine contributions by project stakeholders through all phases of projects and assist Product Manager in tracking project progress, updating project plans and develop and distribute status reports;
  • Identify interdependencies of multiple project efforts and facilitate communication among project team members;
  • Anticipate and negotiate cross-functional resource needs of the team;
  • Assist in negotiation, definition, communication and management of project scope and priorities;
  • Possess the willingness and ability to successfully implement and encourage adherence to commitments by individuals at different levels of the management hierarchy, while simultaneously developing and maintaining positive relationships with those same individuals;
  • Work with cross-functional team to determine quality and risk management approaches in relation to project objectives,
  • Become **trusted advisor** to Product Management through success of the above duties and by participating in the product development and management processes as required.
  • Provide input on product definition and provide options on potential implementation approaches;
  • Facilitate project management processes and techniques across Product Engineering and other departments in relying heavily on Lean/Scrum techniques.
  • Drive creation and maintenance of project management methodologies, approaches and standards (based largely on Scrum methodology);
  • Mentor team members in ADM on Agile Software Development and Product Development processes.


Required Skills/Experience:
  • 5+ years experience in a Project/Development Management role with 3 to 5 years of Internet software/services delivery;
  • 2+ years experience as a ScrumMaster;
  • 5+ years of software development experience as an individual contributor;
  • A proven track record of delivering innovative products on tight schedules.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in object oriented design (especially with Java), database, and web programming;
  • Ability to establish credibility with smart developers quickly;
  • A proven track record of building and improving a motivated and productive development team;
  • Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage tasks efficiently with high level of attention to detail;
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under tight deadlines while coordinating several projects at a time with rapidly changing business and technical needs and conditions;
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication.


Desired Skills:
  • Prior development experience of enterprise applications such as CRM, Service & Support, Marketing etc.;
  • Experience with lean software development practices, Agile practices such as XP, FDD, TDD highly desirable;
  • Scrum of Scrums experience a plus;
  • PMP Certification;
  • Demonstrate selection and application of project management tools
