Job Description:
- Software Engineer responsible for performing design, coding and unit test of new mission applications and/or in support of maintenance and deployment.
- Perform development in a multi-contractor, multi-location environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a technical role, working on software intensive projects and programs for Government or industry customers.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience supporting one or more of the following Software Engineer activities: software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems).
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in some applicable programming language such as the following: Java, C/C++, Cobra, J2EE, Perl, JavaScript, XML, UNIX scripting languages.
- Position requires a current TS/SCI with CI poly security clearance at a minimum with the willingness and ability to obtain full-scope poly.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- At least 1-2 years of experience with web services.
- Experience with software testing, installation, configuration and upgrading.
- UNIX development experience preferred; LINUX a plus.
- At least 1-2 years of experience developing complex systems utilizing a significant amount of COTS.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills a plus.
- Understanding of PKI.
- Familiarity with Agile development methods.
