JOB SPECIFICATIONS: The primary function of this position is to complete new store finish-out and major store remodels. Superintendents are responsible for the on-site management and coordination of all subs and trades, the schedule, inspections, client walk-throughs and similar job-site duties. • A comprehensive background in all aspects of retail finish-out including new store construction, major store remodels and open-store phased remodels. • Restaurant and C-Store finish-out experience as well as Ground-Up experience would be beneficial. • A comprehensive understanding of floor plans, and similar construction drawings as they apply to layout of walls, placement of openings, electrical and plumbing, retail fixtures, dimensions and placement of signage. • Comprehensive knowledge of general commercial and retail construction trades • Duties include the supervision of sub-contractors in all finish-out trades in completing store locations • You will have extensive Client contact and will need exceptional customer service skills • Communications – you will be responsible for maintaining updated job files utilizing MS Excel and Outlook and, providing job-site progress photos utilizing digital photography • “Hands-on” labor will be required, however this may be limited • Be available for extensive company-paid national travel Required Experience: • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience and a well-rounded background retail finish-out and general commercial construction. • Previous Superintendent experience on retail remodeling or finish-out projects. • Solid computer skills to complete various job file reports and expense reports. MS Excel, Outlook and Word. ••• ABILITY TO TRAVEL FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME OUT OF STATE.
