We currently have an immediate opening for a Software Developer with Testing experience in Quality Assurance for our TouchWorks Quality Assurance team.
 
The TouchWorks QA team strives to build the next generation of Electronic Health Record Integration and Connectivity and its world class EHR application has become an indispensable part of the way physicians practice medicine. The TouchWorks QA team is seeking driven, creative, individuals to help us build the next generation of Electronic Health Record Integration and Connectivity. The TouchWorks QA team is responsible for providing a world class EHR application that is an indispensable part of the way physicians practice medicine.
 
The Software Developer QA Engineer will need to have a very strong background in Coding as a Developer/Programmer of software applications. Besides Coding/Development, this Software Engineer will also perform API level testing, end-to-end integration testing and stress/performance testing and will be expected to determine tool needs for feature, leverage/adapt existing tools developed by other teams at Allscripts and create tools to facilitate thorough testing.
 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Strong extensive background in Coding/Development/Programming of software applications.
  • Experience with computer languages such as C, C#, C++, ASP, .NET, VB, Java.
  • Knowledge of core internet and web technologies such as: HTTP and SOAP
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft WINForms.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Excellent testing abilities and communication skills with strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience developing or testing web, client/server or database administration.
  • Previous experience developing test tools, automation frameworks or applications.
  • Solid foundation in web service fundamentals, including performance reliability, scalability and availability.
