Job Description:
We currently have an opening for a Microsoft Dynamics™ AX Developer.
An experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer is required in our implementation team to assist with the successful implementation and maintenance of our client’s Microsoft Dynamics AX based ERP systems.
Your experience and knowledge of ERP solutions and associated technologies are imperative in launching your career at Tectura.
This is a varied and demanding role involving all aspects of implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX - ERP solutions from pre-sales prototype work through the project life cycle to go-live and on-going support.
Your involvement with clients will include off-site and on-site work and you will be encouraged to develop your Microsoft Dynamics AX knowledge and achieve relevant certifications.
Responsibilities:
To facilitate the successful installation and maintenance of our client’s software systems, including off site and on site work. You will be encouraged and expected to develop your professional technical skills.
You will be educated to follow the Tectura Solution Framework methodology which identifies the best practice processes that are followed to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions.
Your day to day tasks will include:
- Pre-sales assistance
- Development planning and the delivery of value added work, to scope and budget
- Technical documentation
- Development according to best practice
- Prototype design, development and demonstration
- Production of design and technical documentation
- Provide technical training to both internal and external clients
- Development and delivery of testing strategies
- Managing change control
- Management and quality control of off-shore development
- Go-live and post-live support
Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills & Experience
• 3+ years development experience with AX, with appropriate accreditations.
• Experienced in running design workshop in conjunction with clients on their premises.
• Good knowledge of the functionality/modules in AX.
• SQL Server development & administration experience.
• Used to working in projects following a given methodology.
• Good documentation skills, particular in producing design specifications and test scripts.
• Commercial awareness and total dedication to delivering maximum return on investment for our clients.
• Self motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a team based consulting environment.

• SQL Server design skills (MCDBA)
