Description - Reporting to Head of Investor Services-ASEAN, Singapore Branch, the successful candidate will responsible for marketing & selling suite of investor services products and servicing solutions to prospects in Asean including institutional investors, official institutions, collective investment, pension funds, nonprofit organisations, investment managers, and asset consultants. Identify new prospects by analysing country development; market segmentation, industry regulations, researching prospects' servicing needs, and producing a sales plan. Making regular sales call to prospects in targeted countries. Producing customized sales presentations to large and complex clients, negotiating and closing the sales transactions. Duties: Cold calling prospective clients, making presentation and recommending suite of Investors Services products or services by travelling to countries in Asean. Proactively identifying new prospects by researching the market place, industry rules and regulations, competitive landscape, servicing needs, and producing a sales plan. Selling and closing investor services products and services to prospective clients including official institutions, pension funds, investment managers, nonprofit organisations and investment consultants to generate profitable business. Acting as the specialist on Investors Services products and services and presenting to prospects and marketplace. Preparing and making customized sales presentations to large and complex prospects. Preparing and responding to 'Request for Proposal' and customised fee proposals for prospective clients. Using the knowledge and processes of Investors Services to analyse prospects' requirements and recommending servicing solutions. Providing referrals to other business units and help to cross-sell other products and services of the Bank. Cultivating and maintaining ongoing relationship with asset consultants. Learning and maintaining knowledge of investment servicing by working closely with fund operations, risk & compliance and legal, other business units, and keeping abreast of laws and regulations affecting the industry. Promoting State Street and its services through participation in industry conferences and contribution to periodicals. Skills required : Good understanding of complex institutional master/global custody products and services. Strong knowledge of investment, accounting, performance measurement, securities lending and related products. Good written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, with second language an advantage. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc. Qualifications: University degree Minimum of 5 years related financial industry experience preferably in custody and fund services. Broad knowledge of State Street Investors Services business and process. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communications, analytical, & presentation skills Candidates with senior positions above the C36 grade will also be considered.
