Job Description:
Responsibilities: Responsible for the effective definition, development, and deployment of SmarTeam systems for a variety of customers.
Activities and duties:
1. Participate in business and technical solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements and conversions.
2. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems.
3. Prepare system and implementation documentation.
4. Provide implementation, customization and training of SmarTeam Product suites.
Skills and qualifications:
• BS degree in Information Technology preferred.
• 2+ years experience in SmarTeam Product suites.
• 5+ years experience in PDM definition and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of PLM implementation or collaborative design.
• Familiarity of Web based application and implementation.
• Experience in Java, Visual Basic, XML, SQL languages, Object Modeling and Web Technologies.
• Strong level of knowledge with Windows server and Oracle databases.
• Good knowledge of CAD systems and configuration management.
• Ability to work in a customer environment.
• Effectively troubleshoot and resolve implementation problems/issues.
A successful candidate will become part of a small, highly dynamic and fast moving team, and should be self-motivating and able to work on their own initiative. He/she should be a quick learner, able to problem solve and challenge existing assumptions. Thinking out of the box is an integral part of the position.
This position could require up to 90% domestic travel and occasional international travel.
