To successfully deliver a typical project in this senior role, the following skill set will be required

• Ability to work diplomatically with business users to gather accurate requirements
• Provide hands-on data modeling / development support for a variety of assignments and have a quick grasp of new business environments
• Mentor others, train / instruct end-users and help deploy applications to user communities
• Demonstrate excellent spoken and written English language communications skills
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time (home on weekends)

Five plus years experience with the following is required:

• Working with business and technical users to define business needs and develop application requirements
• Strong Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming experience
• Experience in Core Java, J2EE, Struts 1.0/1.1, Spring Framework, AJAX, Web Services, JDBC 2.0, JNDI, JMS, Hibernate, Servlet, JSP,XML/XSL/XSLT/XS
• Knowledge of J2EE architecture, design patterns, coding, testing and deployment of distributed applications in a production environment
• Developing applications that leverages and integrates with Active Directory, SunOne Directory Server, or other standard LDA's
• Exposure to at least two application servers (WebSphere/Weblogic/JBoss/TomCat) on both Unix and Windows environments.
• Exposure to standard database platforms such as Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005
• Exposure to the Cognos SDK, Business Objects or Actuate is a plus.
