Title: VPI Program Leader
Function: Quality
Location: Columbus IN
Purpose : To deliver major New Product Introduction / Value Package Introduction projects on time and within budget, to meet all Customer and CTT technical, cost and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for managing one or more cross-functional program teams to deliver the highest quality, most cost-effective new product(s) that best meet Customer needs.
* Accountable for all elements of the program(s), including product cost, program cost, product reliability, on-time delivery, manufacturing and supply base readiness.
* Provide leadership for the core team members, establishing a tone for the program of setting difficult but realistic objectives.
* Lead project reviews with Customers and with CTT management to meet project timing. Ensure there are no surprises during the program(s).
* Ensure that a cross functional approach is taken throughout the program.
* Ensure that the program is integrated with the overall direction of the company to the fullest extent possible.
* Develop program management team(s) to continually improve effectiveness, ensuring good connections to respective functional excellence areas.
* Support the development of individuals within the teams.
* Support the development of program management functional excellence, and sharing of best practices.
* Degree or equivalent (technical or business)
* Functional excellence in Program Mangement field.
* Good business understanding.
* Significant experience in management field.
* Automotive industry experience desirable
* Understanding of how to work in a multi- cultural environment.
* Good PR / communication skills.
