Recruitment Branch Manager & BD Manager Oil & Gas Recruitment Stavanger, Norway INT01205.10323EP An international Oil & Gas recruitment consultancy is looking for two Managers from within the O&G Recruitment Industry with fluent bi lingual skills (Norwegian & English) for their new Stavanger office. This is a warm start as business is already being conducted in to Norway from an external location and is flourishing so now is time to put a physical office in to the region. The Norwegian office will focus on supplying Contract personnel in to Subsurface, Well Engineering and Discipline Engineering as an initial start moving in to Health & Safety, Subsea, Project Management and Project Controls in the future hence needing a skilled, Senior O&G recruitment manager to lead. This role is ideal for a Senior team Leader or Divisional Manager who has managed 3 5 staff and is looking for a rise up the career ladder. Being the BUSINESS LEADER for Norway you will have full responsibility for running the Stavanger office reporting remotely the board to deliver a pre set budget, hire & manage a local delivery team coupled with client development in conjunction with the Sales Manager who will also report to you. The Stavanger office will initially be Contracts driven and over time the Permanent offering will be moved in to the Stavanger office from HQ who currently supplies the region through a very efficient resource team. The Resource team will continue to support you and your team as will the Director who will regularly visit but is giving you the autonomy and responsibility to you to develop the Norwegian business. You will ensure that KPIs and targets are being met and budget figures achieved, you will focus your team You should be willing to spend a few weeks or so in the UK HQ so you can be inducted in to the company, its processes and style and take it back to Norway to implement locally. The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER must also be fluent in Norwegian & English. As the title states, you will be the main sales driver for the office itA s a great role for anyone who enjoys being client facing, enjoys entertaining clients but doesnA t want to be involved in the delivery and candidate attraction aspect of recruitment. Your role takes you from sales at the early stages of winning new clients, interacting with existing business through to being the liaison between the delivery & resource teams. DonA t forget Oil and Gas recruitment and proven Sales skills are a must, ideally with knowledge of the Contract side of O&G recruitment. ABOUT YOU Bi lingual team leader / business manager with circa 5 7 years recruitment experience in Oil & Gas is an absolute MUST! The Business leader needs to have managed at least 2 or 3 people The Sales manager must love sales and client development and will ideally have circa 7 years rec. experience A strong work ethic which is best described as competitive but with a level of subtlety befitting the Norwegian business culture not an in your face and bullish approach! ! Open and honest, able to report remotely, able to talk through problems and come up with solutions and takes accountability A team player, with a collaborative and cooperative manner who doesnA t operate as an island!
